Gauhati University has released the official notification for the Gauhati University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET) 2026 for admission into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme offered by affiliated colleges and institutions.
Candidates aspiring to pursue a B.Ed. degree under Gauhati University must qualify in the GUBEDCET-2026 entrance examination.

Merit List Preparation
The merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in GUBEDCET-2026.
In case of a tie:
- Higher ratio of positive marks to negative marks.
- Fewer unanswered questions.
- Higher age of the candidate.
