1. Project Associate-I
- No. of vacancy: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification:-
- M.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture with minimum of 60% marks.
- The project involves regular traveling to the remote villages of Sikkim for demonstration of Technologies, Farmers Awareness and to the partner institutes. Candidates with good knowledge of villages in Sikkim and Experience in conducting training and demonstration in different aspects of and organic farming are preferred. NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given a preference.
- Emolument: Candidate with CSIR/ASRB-NET Rs.31000+HRA and the candidate without NET/GATE will get the emolument as per the regulations of Department of Biotechnology, DST and Government of India.
2. Agriculture Labour on daily wages basis
- No. of vacancy: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification:-
- Should be able to write and read the local language.
- Sufficient experience in agricultural work.
- The labour is meant for Yangang Campus of Sikkim University. Preference will be given to the candidate belonging to Yangang and surroundings.
- Emolument: Latest minimum rate of wages notified by Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
