Post Name: NSD, Sikkim, Repertory Company Artist
No. of vacancy: 08 (Eight)
Age: 20-35 Years
Term of Post: 6 Years, however the period will be extended on the basis of assessment of the artists every year.
Salary: Rs.40,000 /- per month
Essential qualifications required for direct recruitment:
a. Graduation from any reorganized university.
b. Must hold One Year Residential Certificate Course in Dramatic Arts from NSD, Sikkim Centre or from other theatre training institute.
c. Experience of participating in 10 important productions in Hindi or any other Indian Language performing major roles.
Note: The above Qualifications/Experience at the discretion of the competent authority may be relaxed in favor of candidate otherwise found suitable or candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes or Scheduled Caste.
Desirable Qualifications:
a. Knowledge of dance, music and allied art.
b. Experience in direction of the play and or stage craft.
c. Knowledge of one or two regional language/dialects.
d. Knowledge of acting theories and styles. f. g.
Note: The above Qualifications/Experience at the discretion of the competent authority, may be relax in favor of candidate otherwise found suitable.
