NSU Imphal Recruitment 2023: National Sports University (NSU), Imphal, Manipur has released an employment notification to recruit 3 Project Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Project Technician vacancies on a purely temporary basis. The last date for submission of the application is June 15, 2023.
1. Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- No. of posts: 02 (Two)
- The project entitled: “Prevalence of sports injury and evaluation of associated risk factors related to circadian chronotype alterations, postural imbalance, nutritional inadequacy, and psycho-physiological factors among traditional sports players of Manipur, North-East India”.
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences (Physiology/Human Physiology/Sports Physiology/ Sports Nutrition/Nutrition and Dietetics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology).
- Desirable Qualification: Previous working experience with sports persons.
- Emoluments: @ Rs.31,000/- + 9% HRA= Rs. 33,790/- per month.
- Age limit: Up to 30 years as of the written test/Interview date.
- Nature of duties: To conduct field-based assessments for various parameters associated with the project from different areas of Manipur/Any other responsibilities assigned by the PI.
2. Project Technician
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- The project entitled: “Prevalence of sports injury and evaluation of associated risk factors related to circadian chronotype alterations, postural imbalance, nutritional inadequacy, and psycho-physiological factors among traditional sports players of Manipur, North-East India”.
- Essential Qualification: High school or equivalent and two years’ diplomas in Medical Laboratory Technician or Public Health Worker/experience with Blood collection and sample preservation.
- Desirable Qualification: At least one year of experience in the research field/laboratory.
- Emoluments: @ Rs.16,000/- per month.
- Age limit: Up to 30 years as of the written test/Interview date.
